Scrap metal business involved in fraud scheme

From North Jersey, “A scrap metal company was an alleged 17-year conspiracy in which they are said to have cheated customers who sold them metal out of millions of dollars, authorities said.

From 1999 through March 2016, the Cinelli brothers used a variety of fraudulent business practices, such as misrepresenting weights, to buy scrap metal from their customers for less than what CIMCO had agreed to pay, authorities said. They then resold the scrap metal at a profit.”
